NYC Summer Streets is an annual citywide celebration that transforms selected streets into car-free public space for walking, biking, running, performances, fitness classes, interactive art, and community activities.

The event is held on select Saturdays from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and features free programming along multiple routes across New York City.

2026 Status

The official page says 2026 dates will be announced soon. An application deadline for partners is listed as June 26, 2026, but this is not the event date.
