Schaffhausen Inline Skating Marathon

Experience the thrill of inline skating at the Klettgau Skate Day, an exciting event held in the beautiful Schaffhausen region. As part of the prestigious German Inline Cup, this event promises a dynamic and scenic experience for all skaters. The 10-kilometer route takes participants through the picturesque Schaffhausen wine country, offering stunning views of fields and the Schmerlatt gliding airfield.

Event Highlights:

• Location: Schaffhausen, Switzerland
• Organizer: Swiss Skate Tour Association
• Registration: Online registration until 2nd June 2025. Late registrations are accepted online and on-site up to one hour before the start, with a late registration fee.
• Race Categories: In addition to the popular Kids on Skates course, the event includes a 100m sprint, and both Pro and Amateur categories. In the Amateur category, anyone can compete against each other, including some of the best sprinters in the world!

• Festival Catering: Enjoy a variety of food and drink at the festival grounds.
• Bouncy Castle: For the kids to have some extra fun.
• Skate Equipment: On-site sales and rentals of skate gear available.

Important Information:

• Traffic: The route and access roads will be closed from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with some additional partial closures. Be mindful of these changes when planning your arrival.
• Parking: Designated parking spaces must be used. Unauthorized vehicles will be towed at the owner’s expense.
• Safety: Follow the indicated warning flags along the course, adjust your speed according to your ability, and always skate responsibly. The course will be fully supported by medical care stations along the route.
