Skate past iconic landmarks, through lively streets, and along scenic routes, all while connecting with fellow skaters. Whether you’re a local or visiting, this is the perfect way to explore Birmingham on wheels!

Event Guidelines

• Skate safely: While marshals will do their best to ensure safety, you are responsible for your own well-being. Wear protective gear (helmet, pads, wrist guards, etc.). If you fall or have equipment issues, we’ll stop at a safe spot to assist you.
• Skate within your abilities: This event is for intermediate/advanced skaters. You should be able to stop, turn, manage curbs, navigate slopes, and maintain a speed of 8-10 mph for 10-12 miles. Speak to a marshal if you're unsure.
• Stay with the group: Keep behind the lead marshal and in front of the rear marshals. Overtaking the lead or falling too far behind can put you and others at risk.
• Respect marshals: Listen to their instructions and leave space for them to pass when necessary. Always stay left on the road and make room for marshals to move.
• Check your gear: Make sure your equipment is in good condition before the event.
• Respect everyone: Be courteous to all participants, marshals, and the public. Disrespectful behavior will result in exclusion from the event.
• Attend the briefing: It’s important to understand the route and safety details before starting.
• Substance-free: Alcohol or other substances are not allowed during the event. Anyone who appears impaired will not be permitted to participate.
• Age requirement: You must be at least 18 years old, or accompanied by a responsible adult.
• Filming: Photography and video may be taken during the event and used for promotional purposes. Feel free to share your own moments and tag us on social media.
• Weather: The event will proceed unless conditions are unsafe. Please use your judgment on whether to participate based on weather.
• Bring positive vibes: Let’s roll together, enjoy the experience, and have fun on this exciting ride!
