Event Guidelines

• Skate safely: While marshals will do their best to ensure everyone’s safety, you are responsible for your own well-being. Be sure to wear protective gear (helmet, pads, wrist guards, etc.). If you have any issues or fall, we’ll stop at a safe spot to assist you.
• Skate within your abilities: This event is designed for intermediate/advanced skaters. You should be able to stop, turn, manage curbs, navigate slopes, and maintain a speed of 8-10 mph for 10-12 miles. If you're unsure, speak to a marshal for guidance.
• Stay with the group: Keep behind the lead marshal and in front of the rear marshals. Overtaking the lead or falling too far behind may pose risks to you and others.
• Respect marshals: Listen to their directions and leave space for them to pass when needed. Always stay left on the road and make space for marshals to move.
• Check your equipment: Ensure your gear is in good condition before the event.
• Respect everyone: Be courteous to all participants, marshals, and the public. Any disrespectful behavior may result in removal from the event.
• Attend the briefing: It’s important to understand the route and safety information.
• Substance-free: Consumption of any substances during the event is prohibited. Anyone who appears impaired will not be allowed to participate.
• Age requirement: You must be at least 18 years old, or accompanied by a responsible adult.
• Filming: Photos and videos may be taken during the event and used for publicity. Feel free to take your own shots and share them on social media.
• Weather: The event will only be canceled if conditions are unsafe. Use your judgment regarding participation based on weather.
• Bring positive energy: Let’s enjoy the ride together and make the most of the event!
