Jerome Skate Park

erome Playground South Skate Park, located at Jerome Ave, Bronx, NY 10452, is a newly renovated facility offering a vibrant space for skateboarding enthusiasts. The skate park was recently upgraded, transforming the former handball courts into a modern skating destination. With the completion of the renovation in 2023, the park features a variety of concrete structures, ramps, railings, and walls designed to cater to skaters of various skill levels.

This $2.4 million project was a collaboration between the NYC Parks Department and local community leaders. It also includes added amenities such as benches, a water fountain, and bike racks, ensuring a comfortable and accessible environment for skaters and visitors alike. The skate park's location near the Cross Bronx Expressway makes it easy for locals to access, and it stands as a new addition to the borough's recreational offerings
