Skate Australia
Skate Australia is the national sporting organization for skate sports and skateboarding in Australia, overseeing pathways from participation through to national teams.

Skate Australia is the recognised national sporting organization for skate sports and skateboarding in Australia. Based in Milton, Queensland, it sits at the centre of the country’s formal pathway for skating disciplines, working across participation, development, and elite competition.
The organisation is recognised by Sport Australia, the Australian Olympic Committee, and World Skate. Its remit extends beyond skateboarding to include artistic skating, inline and rink hockey, roller derby, scootering, speed skating, and related disciplines, giving it a broad role in shaping the sport’s structure and future in Australia.
For skaters, coaches, clubs, and officials, Skate Australia represents the national framework behind many of the pathways that connect local participation to state and national programs. It is less a public skate venue and more the governing body supporting the wider skating community.
