Exposure Skate

Exposure Skate is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Encinitas, California, dedicated to creating space for women, girls and nonbinary individuals through skateboarding. Founded in 2012, it grew out of a need to build more opportunity and visibility for skaters who were often left out of the mainstream scene.

The organization’s work goes beyond competition. Its programs include skate clinics, camps, retreats, college scholarships and events that blend skateboarding with mindfulness, social and emotional learning, leadership and community service.
