Exposure Skate

Exposure Skate is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that empowers women, girls, and nonbinary people through skateboarding and teaches compassion through service. Its year-round programs combine skating, confidence-building, social and emotional learning, mindfulness, leadership, community service, and educational opportunities.

Programs

Exposure offers youth and adult skate clinics, camps, retreats, scholarships, volunteer opportunities, and community events for a range of ages and experience levels. Programs such as Skate Rising and Sesh(e) create supportive learning environments where participants can develop skateboard skills while building community and giving back.

Exposure competition

The organization produces the annual Exposure event, which it identifies as the world’s largest and longest-running women’s skateboarding competition. The event brings amateur, professional, and Olympic skateboarders together in street, vert, and bowl disciplines. The 2026 edition is scheduled for November 6–8, but competitors and spectators should use the dedicated event page for the final programme and access details.

Community impact

Exposure’s work supports inclusive skateboarding spaces and service initiatives, including fundraising for domestic-violence support programs. Volunteers assist with instruction, participant check-in, event setup, operations, and community outreach.
