General Information

Life Rolls On

Life Rolls On is a nonprofit adaptive-sports organization serving people with physical disabilities and paralysis through inclusive surf, skate, and fishing experiences. Its Get On Board Tour brings athletes, families, volunteers, and local communities together at events across North America.

They Will Skate Again

The adaptive skate programme creates supported skatepark experiences for participants ranging from beginners to experienced WCMX athletes and power-wheelchair users. Volunteers help with setup, check-in, pushing, spotting, encouragement, equipment, and safe participation throughout the day.

Helmets and elbow and knee protection are central to the skate programme, and individual event pages explain what equipment is provided or must be brought. Athlete participation is reviewed according to capacity, staffing, equipment, support needs, and safe event delivery.

Other adaptive programmes

The organization also operates They Will Surf Again and They Will Fish Again. These programmes use adaptive equipment and trained volunteer teams to make ocean and fishing experiences available to people with mobility impairments and physical disabilities.

Athletes and volunteers

Each event publishes separate athlete and volunteer registration. Volunteer roles can include early setup, registration, athlete support, equipment assistance, food service, safety teams, and cleanup. Skate experience is not required for every volunteer role.

Tour information

The official tour calendar lists host cities, programme type, date, schedule, location, registration status, equipment, food, accessibility, and volunteer needs. Registration commonly opens close to the event and can reach capacity.

Before participating: open the exact Life Rolls On event page and confirm athlete or volunteer registration, eligibility, support needs, schedule, equipment, venue, photography policy, accessibility, and weather instructions. The local event page overrides general tour information.
