Concrete Jungle Foundation Perú
Concrete Jungle Foundation Perú is the locally staffed Peruvian programme of Concrete Jungle Foundation, using skateboarding, education, youth leadership, and community development to support children and young people in the Trujillo region.

Concrete Jungle Foundation Perú is the local Peruvian programme of Concrete Jungle Foundation, based in the Trujillo region of La Libertad. It brings skateboarding into a broader youth-development setting, combining structured sessions with educational work and community support.

The programme runs skateboarding sessions at community spaces such as La Rampa in Huanchaco and Santa Edelmira in greater Trujillo. These sessions are designed for beginners and skaters still building confidence, with a focus on safety, progression, and access to equipment where needed.
Alongside skate instruction, the project uses Concrete Jungle Foundation’s Edu-Skate curriculum to connect skateboarding with personal development. Topics can include communication, resilience, cooperation, goal setting, emotional awareness, creativity, and responsibility, giving the sessions a strong social and educational dimension.

The Peru team also places attention on inclusion, including supporting girls’ participation in skateboarding. Overall, the atmosphere is community-focused and youth-oriented, with skateboarding used as a practical way to build confidence, relationships, and life skills.
