Bicycle Sundays on the Bronx River Parkway is Westchester’s long-running open-parkway program, giving people a traffic-free route for biking, skating, scootering, jogging, and walking on selected Sundays.
The 2026 schedule is seasonal rather than every Sunday of the year. This rebuild keeps the listing practical for skaters: it explains the closed-road opportunity, separates the official monthly date blocks into the Schedule field, and adds missing event-date rows for the published 2026 dates not already in the export.
What to expect
A 13.1-mile Bronx River Parkway route used by cyclists, inline skaters, walkers, joggers, and scooters during event hours.
June and July dates use earlier morning hours; May, September, and October dates use late-morning/afternoon hours.
Rain can cancel the program, so check Westchester Parks Foundation or Westchester County Parks before traveling.
