Skate of the Union 2026 brought together recreational skating, instruction, and racing across the Washington, D.C. region from June 19–21, 2026. The program included Skate Camp DC clinics, a Friday night monument skate, and Sunday race events at the Indian Head Rail Trail in White Plains, Maryland.

Friday, June 19: Skate Camp DC, followed by a free Friday Night Skate meeting at Freedom Plaza.
Saturday, June 20: pre-registered clinics at Jones Point Park in Alexandria, Virginia.
Sunday, June 21: race check-in from 8:00 AM and racing from 9:00 AM, including half-marathon and 10K options published by the organizer.
The weekend serves inline, quad, and speed-skating communities, but each activity has its own skill, registration, and equipment expectations. Participants should verify route pace, clinic prerequisites, race rules, helmet requirements, and weather notices before attending.
