The Lobster Roll

The Lobster Roll is SkateBoston’s multi-day urban-skating weekend in Boston, scheduled for August 13–16, 2026. The community event brings visiting and local inline skaters together for group routes, social stops, city sightseeing, and shared time with the Boston skating scene.

Each day can use a different meeting point, rollout time, route distance, pace, and skill expectation. The stored Court Street location should therefore be treated as a reference point rather than the confirmed start for every session. Participants should be comfortable stopping and turning, controlling speed on hills, handling urban surfaces and traffic, and maintaining the announced group pace. Bring a helmet, protective gear, water, and lights or reflective clothing for evening skating.

SkateBoston’s public profile confirms the August 13–16 dates, but a stable route-by-route 2026 schedule was not available during review.
